Toucan MessageLabs
Spam Manager - Quick Start

  1. The first thing you'll likely see in evidence that the MessageLabs system is cleaning your email is that you will receive an email from Spam Manager with the subject "Spam Manager - request to add an email address".

This message means that Spam Manager has quarantined a Spam email that was to be sent to this particular email address.

  2. Follow the link to the Spam Manager page.
    Spam Manager New Acct
The first thing you need is a password.

  3. Click the Send me a password and it will be emailed to your email address.
    Spam Manager step 2
    Click continue

  4. Spam Manager step
Now enter the supplied Password and your email address.

  5. Spam Manager step 4
As a matter of security you will be asked to change your password. You should do this now and change it to something you'll remember but is not readily guessed.

  6. Spam Manager step 5
Once the password has been changed successfully you will be advised.

  7. Spam Manager step 7
Click summary and you will have the quarantine list of all the messages blocked for that email address.

  8. Spam Manager step 8
The Options tab enables you to Manage Aliases and Change your password. If you have multiple aliases such as info@your_domain and sales@your_domain rather than have a Spam Manager account for each address, you can manage this under one Spam Manager account in the Manage Aliases page.

  9. Finally, on-line training is available at http://onlinelearning.star.net.uk/emailhome/
